AVAILABLE for SALE or FREE DONATION
We would like to make you aware of the availability of our fully
restored 4 Manual, 38 Rank Wurlitzer Theater Pipe Organ. We will soon be
permanently relocating to Oregon for our remaining years to be closer to our
daughter
and her family.
Here's an unusual opportunity to acquire a recently rebuilt
concert-ready Wurlitzer Theater Pipe Organ as a free donation. All we
need is to find the right venue. A few examples include a
civic or
school auditorium, performing arts center, church, concert hall, or a
movie theater. Can you suggest another place for us to try?
Would you like to learn more? This historic
instrument is
fully described with many documented pictures at its
website. Click Listen on the menu bar to select and listen to streaming audio from a variety of in-concert
recordings.
The recently restored 4/38 Hardman Studio Wurlitzer is available for
free donation to a responsible organization having an
appropriate acoustical environment with sufficient seating capacity, where it can be seen, played, and
heard in performance on a regular basis, and where proper security,
long term care and maintenance are assured. Geographically it should be located near a recognized musically interested audience for attendance support.
Please tell us about your ideas for a suitable venue where this
beautiful concert-ready instrument can share its exciting music with
others.
We would appreciate hearing your thoughts and suggestions on how we can
announce and publicize its availability to anyone else who might be
aware of an appropriate space in the geographic area where they live. You are invited to pass this on to others.
Thank you for your consideration, and thank you for
trying to
help us!
Sincerely, Mildred and Jack
